North Lake TEA Party

 

Again, I am overwhelmed by the show of support today.  Well over 1,000 of you signed the petition and let your voice be heard.  The children and youth were incredibly well spoken and in their voices I find hope for the future of America.  If our legislators didn't hear us, then they may as well consider today's event their going away party!

I am not a tax payer but, I'd like to be. I believe in the Fair Tax. Fair Tax allows all Americans to support the nation by paying tax ONLY on expenditures other than necessities. Wish I'd been there. It would have been nice for the rally to have been held after work hours. Attendance would have been higher.

What an excellent achievement; all of those associated with the North Lake Tea Party event, including the attendees, deserve a crisp hand salute from this retired Marine. It was truly inspirational and patriotic; it was a demonstration that WE are Americans, and WE can solve our problems through unity. A ballet initiative to cut the entire budget of every government in Lake county is the best way to force the hippocrits to downsize. We can do it for the next election cycle I suggest a 40% cut across the board for all cities and county and school board in Lake COunty. Sell off real estate and eliminate jobs. Use services provided by the taxpaying businesses instead of hiring more county and city employees to maintain our public facilities and vehicles.
The sheriffs department here only has 900 employees!!! 90% of their time while on patrol is spent collection road taxes in the form of traffic fines.
WE NEED BETTER police protection than that!!!!God Bless America!!!

As a small business owner who creates jobs, even in this rough economy, I'm glad that the folks who pay the taxes and create the wealth are finally standing up to say "stop mortgaging our future."
Thank you for an awesome event. I attended, signed the petition and enjoyed the speakers.
Please hold other rallies and remind supporters that a single event is not enough; we must continue to voice our opinion and spread reason among our fellow voters.

Thank you so much for holding this rally, hope more are soon to come. It is very encouraging to see how informed our youth is about the situations in this country. Afterwards I had discussions with some people whom did not attend, nor had any idea what it was about. Needless to say, when you are dealing with ignorance, the conversations do not always go smoothly. I ended most of the convo’s by simply saying; "If being against abortion, having morals and a brain, and believing in fair tax makes me a right wing extremist, then I guess I am". Obama says that they are watching us now! Well, we are all watching you now, buddy!!!!

We MUST keep the momentum going; the 2010 elections are vital to this country's success, and if there is anything that needs overhauling, it is the House of Representatives.

Please don't tell me our tea party wasn't everything we have to offer. Is anything planned for July 4th?
