Upcoming Primary Election Important Information
Voter Registration for Primary Election - Spread the Word Some folks I've spoken with recently were surprised to learn that only registered Republicans can vote in the upcoming Florida Republican Presidential Preference Primary scheduled for January 31, 2012.
The deadline to be registered as a Republican with your county supervisor of elections is January 3, 2012 and because of the rapidly approaching holiday season, now may be the best time to get the form filled out and mailed. Voters can easily change their party affiliation to Republican should they be currently registered other than Republican and then, after the primary, change back to another party affiliation accordingly.
Here's the link to the voter registration form
It's important to remember that although the registration form is on-line, it must be filled out and the hard-copy form mailed (USPS) or hand delivered to your county supervisor of elections office.
Spread the word to get out the vote to maximize our opportunity this presidential primary.
